ABA—The Police Range Charge, Aba, Abia state has captured 5 suspects for professedly occupying a truck passing on pharmaceutical items to a few urban communities in the South East zone.
Parading the suspects distinguished as Joseph Iro, Emeka Iro, Okechukwu Nlewem, John Okeke and Damian Okuta, in Aba, Police Chief, Abia state, Leye Oyebade, said the truck with Enlistment number, SR 511 SA, with green head and white body, left Lagos to convey some pharmaceutical items to clients of Fidson
Organization in the territory, however was grabbed at gunpoint.
He included that men of the Police hostile to theft squad in Aba followed the truck to Umuojima range where the substance were being offloaded into another truck without enlistment number.
As indicated by him, "On 26th September, 2016, at around 8pm, the Police Range Authority, Aba, caught a misery call that a truck passing on pharmaceutical items was grabbed at gunpoint.
The GPS beacon settled to the truck was disengaged, yet we found them at Umuojima in Aba where the items were being stacked into another white truck. We captured the suspects and the two trucks. The suspects will soon be charged to court to serve as an obstacle to others. There is no concealing spot for offenders in Abia state."
In a related advancement, the Police in Aba have recouped a relinquished Toyota Camry Auto with enrollment number, Lagos AAA 196 AP, at Umuokoroato town in Obingwa gathering territory.
Police sources told Vanguard that no capture has been attempted while endeavors have started to find the proprietor of the auto and why it was deserted.
