Scandal! Mourinho demands permission to fire Rooney

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho  has reportedly told Wayne Rooney he should leave the club.

According to The Sun, Mourinho urges the legendary captain must exit Manchester if he wants first-team football.

Rooney has been out of form for both club and country following his recent performances in the EPL and against Malta where he was booed at Wembley Stadium after a miss-hit shot.

Rooney who will turn 31 this month has also come under fire form the fans at Old Trafford and Jose Mourinho has been forced to relegate United’s second all-time to goal scorer to the bench.

Rooney missed Manchester’s 4-0 humiliation against Chelsea through injury, but he was benched for their previous three EPL matches against Leicester, Stoke City and Liverpool.

Previously Mourinho mocked the player: “I think what you could hurt you did already. I don’t think you can do more than what you did.”

And the source stresses the captain is no longer part of Mourinho’s plans. And now “the special one” has reportedly urged Rooney to look for a new club if he wants regular game time.
